Cerro Da Campanica exceeded our expectations for our hiking trip. The host, Rafael, was warm and welcoming, and his stories were a delight. Don't miss his incredible dinner! The property offers scenic running paths and even bicycles for a ride. We loved the peaceful rooms, the friendly dogs, and the chance to meet four generations of the family. Rafael's cooking skills, especially with fresh fish, were outstanding. This farm stay is a hidden gem that we can't wait to return to.

    Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Lovely clean modern rooms, comfy bed, great shower. Beautiful countryside setting and brilliant hosts. Rafael's incredible home-cooked dinner with the freshest ingredients from the sea and his farm was the best meal we had in Portugal. Also, the pool was a great spot to relax and soak up the sun.

Google maps not great, may lead you astray, so be sure to watch out for the small sign on the road. Also, due to its remote location, you'll need a car and expect it to get dirty from the off-the-beaten-track surroundings.

Cerro Da Campanica is my go-to place in Santiago. Helpful staff made my parents feel comfortable on our first visit. It has all I need- Wi-Fi, AC, shuttle, TV, pool. Perfect for a city break. I keep coming back, no regrets.

The location of this countryside accommodation is simply stunning, surrounded by olive trees and sheep fields, creating a picture-perfect setting. the comfortable rooms offer beautiful views and have all the necessary amenities. the hosts provide superb hospitality, ensuring a warm and welcoming stay. Guests can enjoy a refreshing swim in the clean and well-maintained pool. the breakfast served each morning is a delicious highlight, with fresh, homegrown produce and a varied menu.

One small drawback is the mountain road leading to the property, which can be challenging to drive at night due to the lack of lighting.

I gotta say, that outdoor swimming pool was like a sparkling oasis in the scorching desert! It was more refreshing than a dip in the Arctic Ocean on a hot summer day. And the best part? The pool area was so clean and well-maintained, it felt like swimming in liquid silk. Absolutely heavenly!

    Bright lights at night.
